THE RELIGIOUS FEAR FACTOR

I was just listening to something on the T.V., some Parliamentary debate. It was all about religion and politics. Personally, I feel religion should stay as far away from politics as possible. Who's religion are we going to "obey" in any case, I mean we have Christians, Muslims, Jews and pagans and what not. I assume (because of the political party the speaking belongs to) that he assumed it to be Christian, the poor ignorant fool. Wake up, yours is not the only religion on the planet!

Have your religion, enjoy your religion, if you are dumb enough, fear God, but stay the hell out of politics, that (politics) is a big enough mess without your one sided ignorant and extremely arrogant assumptions.

Or shall we just go back to the Middle Ages? Let's just roll up the pavements on Sunday, let's just make abortion illegal again (as if we do not have an overpopulation crisis) and while we are at it, why don't we bring back the death penalty (get the contradiction here?), lets just condemn and judge everybody that is not like us, as I said, why don't we just go straight back to the middle ages...........

Let's just kill everybody that does not agree with us, that is exactly what you have been doing forever, why stop now? Where the hell is the love in that?

God gave you a healthy brain (not for extra worm food one day), you are suppose to use the thing and to hang on to outdated and ridiculous "law", which where written 2 000 years ago and translated how many times afterwards, is basically brain dead, or is if fear that makes people so stupid?

I realize that this was written in anger (where is the love in that), but I am going to leave it as is, because I am sick and tired of "pussyfooting" around, somebody has to tell it like it is.

Just another quick point. The Vatican is a very very rich "country", we have thousand starving in poverty while the pope and his personal puppets live in extreme luxury (these bastards does not practice what they preach) where is the love in this?
